California Update

Ten Days and four shows into our California/West Coast Tour. It is a roller coaster ride/whirlwind of playing music in fun venues and meeting incredible - generous people all over the state. We started the tour by traveling across the west, staying in Amarillo and Flagstaff, then had the great pleasure of staying with Jim Gross in Palm Springs before a fun show in Los Angeles at the Tribal Cafe, sharing the stage with an amazing young duo, Who's Clayton. From there to Ojai valley where we had the best time ever with Amanda and Mario - owners of the world's best vegan restaurant Vegan Mario's. Then we played in Boulder Creek at Joe's Bar with some outstanding musicians sitting in, and stayed with Jeanne and Kasi in Santa Cruz, two of the most loving, fun, and amazing people on the planet. From there we headed to Sacramento and played at Shine, again getting to share the stage with great young musicians, the Baddest Beams, and stayed at a beautiful home in Davis with Michael Amster. Yesterday we headed to Atascadero and played at the Last Stage West - our most unique venue - where we took this photo. We're now staying in a magnificent home in Atascadero with Patrick O'Harra and Christy. Patrick is a very good signer-songwriter and regularly plays with his son Michael - the two have a great blend - we stayed up late last night playing music. Today we're looking forward to our first performance as a part of Steve Key's songwriters at play series in Paso Robles at Sculptura Winery at 1pm (pacific).
